Terms of Service
Last updated: November 4, 2026
Community translation — the English version governs.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Xyvelis platform and its apps: myPiAtlas (the public map), myPiPOS (point of sale), and myPiroll (payroll, in development). By using any of them you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. Xyvelis is an independent application; it is not affiliated with or endorsed by Pi Network or SocialChain.
1. Accounts and eligibility
You sign in with a valid Pi Network account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for your Pi account, your wallet, and any action taken through them.
The profile data you provide is stored encrypted; what we collect and how long we keep it is described in the Privacy Policy.
2. Guest use
You can browse the public Atlas map without signing in. Guests can view but cannot submit, vote, claim, or sell. Guest use is subject to these Terms.
3. Atlas contributions and license
You retain ownership of the photos and descriptions you submit. By submitting, you grant Xyvelis a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to store, reproduce, and publicly display them — including on public IPFS, which is permanent — and to make de-identified, derived place data available to third parties, including through commercial licensing.
Licensing revenue is shared with qualifying contributors under the rules published in the app, including contribution caps tied to the compass tiers. Licensed attribution is not guaranteed income and may change as the rules evolve.
Contributions pass through community review: reviewers, sentinels, and the founder decide submissions, disputes, and the product taxonomy (merchants may request taxonomy additions; the founder approves them). These decisions are final under these Terms.
Content you submit becomes public and permanent. See the next section.
4. Public and permanent submissions
Content you submit — including photos and GPS coordinates — becomes publicly accessible. Photos are pinned to public IPFS storage, which is permanent by design and cannot be reliably deleted once distributed. Do not submit photos or locations you do not want to be public.
5. Merchant rules
Activation. Merchant status comes from an approved business claim on myPiAtlas. A new merchant must record its first sale within 7 days of approval, or the provision lapses and the merchant setup is torn down with a fraud flag. A temporary permit may be issued during onboarding and requires document verification.
Staying active. Merchants must maintain sustained sales activity; lapses are surfaced in the merchant dashboard and can cost the merchant its permit.
Pricing integrity. Merchants price in Pi through the local currency view (LCV). What the customer is shown must be what the sale charges. Manipulating the displayed conversion or charging differently from the shown price is prohibited.
Sale finality. A sale is final when the customer confirms it (cash) or the Pi payment completes on-chain. Refunds and exchanges are merchant-initiated exceptions handled between merchant and customer. Merchants have a 24-hour window to reverse a sale; after that, reversal is refused by the platform.
Consent. Each sale requires the customer's consent, recorded with its version. Do not pressure or trick a customer into accepting it.
6. Home-based stores
Home-based mode is chosen at onboarding. When you submit your store through the owner door and choose "I work from home", your merchant record is flagged as home-based. It is never available for community-mapped stores. Eligible stores can turn it off (and back on) in the merchant dashboard; every change is audited.
No community review. Home-based stores skip peer review entirely — no reviewer votes, no sentinel escalation, no visit verification. The submit-time GPS integrity checks (freshness and anti-spoof) are the only verification this mode receives. Reviewers never see your home address, because your place is never reviewed.
Excluded from the licensed FMCG data set. A home-based store's catalog and sales data never enters the licensed FMCG data set, and the store earns no share of the B2B licensing royalty pool. This covers only your store's data: as an Atlas contributor you still earn royalties for discovering and mapping other places, exactly like anyone else.
Approximate public location. The public map and store discovery show a fuzzed pin near your area, labeled "Home-based · approximate location". Your exact coordinates stay server-side and are never returned by public APIs.
Reports. Because this mode has no review step, anyone can report a home-based listing from store discovery, such as fake listings, wrong home-based labels, or spam. Reports go to the moderation queue.
7. Claims and disputes
A business claim proves real-world control of a place. Claims require a private proof — a selfie with a code generated for that claim — that only the claim parties can view and that is deleted once the claim is decided.
The discoverer of a place has 14 days to respond to a claim against it; if the window lapses unanswered, the claim is cancelled. The discoverer of a place cannot claim it themselves.
An approved claim provisions the merchant and company records for that business. Disputes over claims, submissions, and taxonomy are resolved by reviewers, sentinels, and the founder; their decisions are final under these Terms.
8. Prohibited use
You agree not to do any of the following:
Submit fake, misleading, spoofed, or duplicated places, or photos you did not take or do not have rights to use.
Spoof or fake GPS location to place, review, or verify submissions.
Claim or provision a business you do not control.
Self-purchase: paying your own till to manufacture sales activity or inflate qualifying counts.
Collude with other merchants, customers, or reviewers to game votes, claim outcomes, sales thresholds, or licensing attribution.
Abuse refunds, reversals, or dispute flows to obtain goods or services without paying.
Interfere with the platform's operation, bypass rate limits or security measures, or attempt to access data you are not a party to — including claim proofs.
Use the platform for fraud, money laundering, or any unlawful purpose.
Violations are flagged in the platform. Flagged activity can void sales and claims, revoke merchant permits, and suspend accounts.
9. Availability; a product in development
Xyvelis runs on Pi Network, which is on testnet until mainnet. Functionality, rules, and pricing may change materially before and after launch.
Some announced parts of the ecosystem — payroll (myPiroll), unified treasury settlement, and the public store directory — are in development. Where a feature is planned and not built, we say so; do not rely on planned features as if they were live.
10. Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, the accuracy of map content, or that places, prices, or imagery correctly represent the real world.
Prices are displayed in Pi using a local currency view for readability. We are not VAT-registered; prices do not include VAT. Nothing in the platform is financial advice or a promise of profit.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, XYVELIS TECHNOLOGIES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR DIGITAL ASSETS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the platform develops. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Where a change affects sale consent, the sales consent version is updated accordingly.
13. Governing language and law
These Terms are written in English. The Tagalog version is a community translation provided for convenience; in any conflict, the English version governs.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
